The Sierra Coat is versatile enough to take on all types of weather. Roomy enough to be worn over a bulky sweater and unlined for easy construction, View A features a tall cowl-style collar that snugs the neck or it can be worn open in a waterfall style. View B has an over-sized hood which protects you from cold when made from a wind-blocking fleece or from wet weather when made from rainwear fabrics.

The Sierra is designed for double sided fabrics such as Polartec®, sweater knits, sweatshirt fleece, wool, Sherpa lined fabrics and water-repellant varieties.

It has two lengths: The Coat length features over-sized pockets in either patch or curved side seam styles which are great for holding gloves, phones, etc. The Jacket length can be worn as outerwear or as a cozy sweater for snuggling indoors.

Customize your Coat or Jacket with buttons, snaps, toggles, clasps, frogs, magnetic snaps and more. Choose from three sleeve hem choices; turned back, hemmed or trimmed with fold-over elastic. Trimming options include bias binding, coverstitch, decorative serging and Fold-over elastic. The construction lends itself to both sewing machine and serger finishes.

Suggested Fabrics: Double-Sided Fabrics such as Outerwear fleece (Polartec® 200, Polartec® 300, Windpro, Shearling lined fleece and similar fabrics), sweatshirt fleece, stable sweater knits. Rain wear fabric such as Coated Supplex, Ultrex, Gore-Tex®, Laminated Cotton, etc.
